Jesus repeatedly responds to the hunger of the crowds with abundance, multiplying the loaves and fishes so that all are filled with food left over.  On Sunday, we gather at the Lord’s Table, where all are fed. So at First Methodist,  we follow Christ in serving our neighbor with the Extended Table.

You are an incredible volunteer who makes a difference in the world through charitable work. Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart. You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give. Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the earth who reflect this nation's compassion, unselfish caring, patience, and just plain loving one another.
