“We have a generous God.” You’ve heard this often as we invite the time of offering in weekly worship. God’s generosity comes first. God is generous in love, truth, mercy, and grace. God is generous in provision for our needs. God is generous in sharing his mission through us. “For God so loved that He GAVE his Son.” So we seek to reflect God’s generosity in the world. We seek to carry God’s light into the darkness and shine brightly that others may see and come to the true Light of the World, Jesus.
